Smithsonian Institute (May 2006)

Zyvex donated the world’s first nanotech bat at a special function at the Smithsonian on May 13, 2006. The bat’s manufacturer, Easton Corporation uses Zyvex’s proprietary Kentera dispersion technology to add carbon nanotubes to their product.

CASPER Newsletter (Spring 2006)

Zyvex was featured in the article, “$500,000 grant awarded statewide partnership led by TSTC, Baylor and Zyvex Corporation.” The grant, which was announced by Texas Governor Rick Perry, was awarded by the Texas Workforce Commission to provide future nanomanufacturing scientists and technicians with real world experience as a central part of their preparation for entry into the newly developing nanotechnology manufacturing workforce. CASPER is Baylor’s Center for Astrophysics, SpacePhysics, and Engineering Research.
