National Reactions to the 2022 Version:
- Prof Erik Henriksen, Washington University St. Louis hello John, merry Christmas and almost happy new year! or happy almost-new year, that sounds better. Great to hear from you as always. I hope everyone recovers fully, having just gone through covid my/our-selves, turns out it is not so much fun! The lithography there looks wonderful. Still bummed and surprised none of our funding attempts panned out in 2017-2018, just does not seem right for such a promising approach. Better luck in the new year! best, Erik
- H.H. Leonards, Founder O Museum in the Mansion (The place Mrs. Rosa Parks called My home-away-from home from 1994-2004) Dear John: You are amazing grace. Thank you for coming into our lives and coming around. Just wish we got to see you more often!
- Sir Fraser Stoddart 2016 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry Dear John, Thanks for your Christmas and New Year Greetings. An amazing amount of progress was made in research by a group of highly talented postdoctoral fellows: an electric molecular motor is scheduled to appear in Nature in mid-January. That said, our lease of the Research Palace at Northwestern runs out next year: one of the first tasks in the New Year is to find a sixth port of call. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Fraser
